Despite it’s unconventional shape and slightly bulky appearance, this selfie drone is very light so flights are smooth and stable. Batteries charge in around 40 minutes and offer a flight time of around 6-8 minutes. The E55 also includes a controller which holds your cell phone and allows you to see the First Person View of the drone and take video and photos – check prices on Amazon!
This is a pretty cool green machine that has some great features for the price, such as altitude hold and Gravity Sensor mode. One Key return home function is a great feature for those who are worried about losing the drone, and allows it to return home with the simple click of a button.
The DJI Spark features ground breaking technology, such as gesture control and facial recognition. The gesture control allows you to guide the drone around with just your hands, feeling like a Jedi master!
Long story – To keep your drones from going away on their own after losing signal, GPS drones have specialized FailSafe options which ensure the drone’s safety. They are commonly referred to as return-home and land failsafe
Now that you know everything there is to know about this birdie’s features and imaging solutions, let’s take a closer look at its specifications too. Obviously, camera birds usually come with long operating ranges. This one proves that theory by being able to reach up to 150 meters away from its controller. Pretty neat, right? Well, if you think that’s neat, wait till you hear about its battery duration. Believe it or not, UDI U818Plus can fly for roughly 12-15 minutes per charge. Combine that with everything above and I’m sure you will realize what a steal UDI U818Plus really is.
Racing drone maker Uvify is launching the OOri, a palm-sized racer capable of reaching speeds up to 60 miles per hour. The OOri, designed for those who want to dip their toes into drone racing, comes with a controller, and is also compatible with FPV goggles. It’s currently available for pre-order for $289, but will cost $389 when it ships in March or April.
Lastly, performance. Don’t worry, things won’t turn from awesome to meh here. As a matter of fact, they’re continuing in the same fashion with around 20 to 25 minutes of flight time and up to 2 kilometers of operating range thanks to the provided Skycontroller 2. If you want more flight duration from your Bebop 2, you can always buy an extra battery and carry it along with you on your adventures. Parrot Bebop 2 Adventurer makes it a lot easier, don’t you agree?
Skydio’s drone is also entering a crowded marketplace that hasn’t been kind to new players. A parade of drone start-ups have gone belly up in the last couple of years, unable to compete with DJI’s technical innovation and manufacturing scale.

Introduced at CES 218, the new Uvify OOri is a mini drone that ignores the stereotypes of size, offering things previously only found in larger machines. In specific, we’ve never seen a drone small that hovers so well, nor have we seen a drone this small that can fly as fast. In beginner mode, you’ll be safe to fly OOri in your living room, as you grow as a race pilot, you’ll be able to keep up with some serious machines. OOri is not headed to any professional race circuits, Uvify has the Draco and Warp 9 for that, but OOri can scoot along at over 50 mph.
Once again, this technology, makes it very simple to keep the drone in place while it takes a still image. The more expensive drones will even cater for changes in the wind and still maintain altitude as necessary, thanks to a variety of built-in sensors.
One thing we still haven’t discussed is the camera. GDU Byrd Premium 1.0 sports a 12MPX CMOS sensor by Sony. 4K resolution is supported which means you’ll get to enjoy smooth and crystal clear ultra HD aerial footage. Smooth because this baby packs a 3-axis gimbal as well. All in all, for a price of slightly under $1,000, I believe GDU Byrd Premium 1.0 has good credentials for making it big in the high-end tiers.
It’s also fast, with max speeds in the high 40 mph range. You can have it automatically take off and land from the companion app without having to press anything. There’s also a Beginner Mode that effectively creates invisible barriers for the device — if you send it towards one of those “walls,” it’ll immediately slow down once it hits the threshold. It uses a blend of camera and sonar tech to stay especially stable indoors, too.
