We have a new entry of a foldable drone from a company called 7 Senses. The basic principle is the same as other selfie drones in the round up (except for the Elfie of course); foldable arms, small, easy to transport and a decent 4K camera which is mounted using a 3D brushless gimbal giving you great and stable photos and videos. The 7 Hawk4k folding selfie drone also has the typical follow me mode found in all other selfie drones. So by now you should be familiar with what you get when buying this quadcopter.
On the other end of the user spectrum, there’s a new “Sport mode.” That increases the Phantom 4’s maximum speed — pushing it close to a blazing 50 mph — and makes it more sensitive to control inputs. If you know what you’re doing, it’s a good time, and should make for some exciting footage.
The DJI Mavic is no where near being the smallest camera drone around, mini drones and micro drones are all over the net these days. But normally going small, meant having to sacrifice lots of things mainly the camera quality as well as extra features.
The Air Selfie Camera is a pocket-sized selfie drone, you can slide it into its phone cover and it recharges automatically. It can hover up to 20 meters away, and flies for roughly 3 minutes. Photos are taken by a 5MP camera and are stored on the built-in 4GB micro SD memory card.
Despite that, if you want the best possible image/video quality, a 4K camera will do you right! Once again, resolutions aren’t the only noteworthy aspect of a camera. So, if you’re already keen on going for a 4K one, make sure it has a decent-sized sensor (take Phantom 4 Pro as the perfect example – it has a 1-inch camera sensor), otherwise your images might have too much noise from all the information gathering inside a small area.
If you are interested in buying the DJI Mavic Pro, you can do so with the Gestures feature. Initialize takeoff from your hand and position Mavic Pro on an altitude higher (and away from you) than 10 meters. When positioned properly, simply signal with your hands (make a frame with both of your hands in the air) and Mavic will snap a selfie.
And with the live streaming view, you’ll be able to film objects that are moving. Live streaming is ideal for filming moving targets with the 720X. Even if it’s a fast-moving target, the drone has a built-in collision protection software, so you don’t have to worry about it hitting things along the way. And you don’t have to be a professional to understand how the drone works. It’s designed for people who have never flown a drone before. First time flyers and kids will love the simplicity of how it operates. And apparently, you’ll be able to have all kinds of fun and games when you learn how to use the Drone. It’s not just for kids though. It’s great for experienced drone pilots as well.
is the competitor of DJI Inspire 1. It is an astonishing drone, but a little more affordable. It comes with its own HD x 3456 megapixels 1080p 60 FPS camera. It includes features such as GPS, GLONASS Dual-Navigation System, One Key Take Off, One Key Landing, One Key Go Home, Follow Me Mode. It has an average control range of 1000 meters and a flight time of around 20 minutes. It also comes with its own DEVO F12E, 12 Channels 2.4GHz with a FPV 5” Monitor to display great quality live video directly on the remote controller.
• One Touch Takeoff and Landing: the drone automatically hovers at a set altitude after take off and before landing, making it easy to control and maneuver, and helps with the issue of a potentially lost drone
Next up we have the Blade Nano. We are talking about a micro-sized ready to fly drone with awesome firepower. It sports tiny brushed DC motors and works on 1S batteries. However, those tiny motors are rather powerful and, due to Nano’s featherweight design, it allows insane throttle and speeds. But, is this little birdie good beginner drone?
We cannot start this list without mentioning our favourite selfie-drone of all – the drones whose arms fold into to fit right in your pocket. If you want to see what this technology can do without spending a lot, this would be the perfect buy. Foldable & flexible aerofoils make the palm-sized drone compact, small and portable.
You may be able to find a few that get a bit lower than this, but the JJRC 2.4ghz RC Quadcopter pictured here is just $9.95. It is a very tiny quad that gives you about 5 minutes of flight time, and has a control distance of about 30m.
Drones are fast becoming as popular as regular cameras and smartphone for taking photo and videos and are a new favourite for capturing epic selfie shots. Consumer drones with the ability to take good quality photos and videos in an easy to fly package have become affordable to a much wider audience. The rise of the drone selfie, or dronie, continues with some drone pilots managing amazing shots. We’ve travelled around the world taking some epic selfies with our drones and we’ve put together this list of the best selfie drones for all budgets. They vary in price from the cheaper, more basic models to the more expensive DJI models depending on your needs. Regardless of what version you buy they’re all guaranteed to be a lot of fun!
Compared to the early version, the new BeBop 2 has an improved camera and is a stronger craft. It’s wind-resistant too. This is a particularly useful feature if you live in a breezy part of the country.
This is a pretty cool green machine that has some great features for the price, such as altitude hold and Gravity Sensor mode. One Key return home function is a great feature for those who are worried about losing the drone, and allows it to return home with the simple click of a button.
I love the selection but I also would recommend the Cheerson CX-10WD CX10WD MINI. It’s price is a bit high but it’s so small that you can get a picture of anywhere even in small holes. If you want to buy it you can get it here>>> https://www.technoshoppers.com/product-page/cheerson-cx-10wd-cx10wd-mini-wifi-fpv-0-3mp-camera-altitude-hold-2-4g-4ch-6aixs
Being the first real consumer drone from DJI the logic built in the camera software is different from other DJI drones. All DJI drones have auto focus allowing you to concentrate on flying, the Mavic however requires you to choose your subject first. This is because the concept of the DJI Mavic drone is to be more of a selfie drone rather than a more general drone. So to get the best picture you need to tell the Mavic who is the star of the show and to focus on him.
AirSelfie is a revolutionary pocket-size flying camera that connects with your smartphone to let you take boundless HD photos of you, your friends, and your life from the sky. Its turbo fan propellers can thrust up to 20 meters in the air letting you capture wide, truly original photos and videos on your device. The anti-vibration shock absorber and 5 MP camera ensure the highest quality images. And its ultra-light 61g form that slips into a special phone cover and charger means you can keep AirSelfie on you at all times. Say hello to the future of selfies.
is one of DJI’s most successful drone releases, although there currently exists Phantom 4 – best drone of 2017, DJI Phantom 2 remains a highly recommend drone, especially now that its price has gone down. Phantom 2 features amazing functions such as built-in GPS which powers auto-pilot feature (through waypoints program pre-flights and drone will fly the route by itself), altitude lock (drone won’t fly above that altitude), position holding (drone maintains same height without pilot input). This features are very useful for photography and videography. Phantom 2 has a control range of up to 1KMs! Its batteries power up to 20 minutes of flight time. On top of all this, Phantom 2 comes with its own Gimbal capable of supporting GoPro Hero cameras. Phantom 2 is also compatible with First Person View flight. Definitely one of the best drones for camera usage within this budget.
It has a 6-axis gyro stabilization system for optimal stability along with one button 3D flips. Other than that, it is also important to add that you can fly it around for about 7 minutes and it can reach about 70 meters away from its transmitter. All things considered, we are talking about a dirt-cheap drone that serves great as flying practice for new pilots. Buy it, test it out and see for yourself.
App control: Unique remote control function of app, enables the users to experience the new fun of flying..One key take-off/landing, Video/Photograph/Raise & Down/Forwards & Backwards/Left & Right Turning/Left & Right Flying/Hovering/360 Degree Rotating/Colorful LED light
As far as the Hover Camera is concerned, it’s primary business is taking selfies. With that being said, it’s not surprising to see facial recognition and even an adjustable camera (in-flight) among some other selfie-oriented features including orbiting mode. To snap the perfect selfie with this thing, simply let it hover in the air, turn on facial recognition and set up all image settings according to your choice.
Using this information, the quadcopter can automatically (and individually) adjust each of the four motors, enabling it to hover in place. The pilot uses a transmitting controller to pilot the quadcopter. It can either gain or lose altitude, move left and right on horizontal plane, or spin 360 degrees.
Second, while we looked at many drone reviewing outlets and enthusiast blogs to inform our picks, most of those sources do not score new drone launches on a regular basis. So we’re making an exception to our usual BI Rating procedure and basing those numbers on our opinions alone.
In addition, Spark has safety features that you normally only see on bigger drones. Things like Return to Home, Precision hovering and landing, not to mention obstacle avoidance, which until now was unheard of in a quadcopter this small.
In love…It’s ok…The bag is a little on the small side and won’t hold everything, so I purchased one with more space for storing everything in one location, but still use the smaller one for excursions when I don’t need everything with me….The best drone I had, easy to fly and very fun, recommended, you won’t be disappointed.before buying I read lots of reviews and compare different drones in the market and I ended choosing the mavic pro and I’m so glad I did the right move.Mavic pro the best from DJI.

The pinnacle of DJI’s drone-manufacturing ability is definitely their second generation of DJI Inspire. It’s one of the drones with camera that are not meant for everyone. With its advanced features, groundbreaking camera technology and above all – second to none build quality, it comes as no surprise it is decorated with an incredibly high price tag. So, with all that bearing in mind, in the next couple of paragraphs, I will do my best to portray you the excellence behind DJI Inspire 2. Let’s kick it off, shall we?!
I understand that not every entry-level user wants a craft of this size, with this many features, and the need to buy a third-party camera. That’s why there’s a range of beginner drones on this review page.
Like we said above, GDU Byrd Premium 1.0 is much more than a simple new selfie drone… but if you are eager to capture awesome selfies with it, you’re up for a fun time. Obviously, GDU Byrd Premium 1.0 doesn’t have a dedicated Selfie mode, but even without it, I am sure you won’t have any difficulties. That’s mostly thanks to the outstanding 3-axis gimbal combined with a GoPro Hero 4 camera.
If you already own a spectrum transmitter they sell a bind and fly version which doesn’t come with this transmitter and you can bind this model to that transmitter that you already own so it’s great for spectrum owners people who already own spectrum products and just want to fly the quad it reduces the cost a bit and you can get a better radio system.
