If you want to invest in an all round excellent drone our pick for the best selfie drone is the DJI Mavic Pro. We’re travelled extensively around the world with our Mavic Pro and it’s never let us down. The auto fly modes make flying the Mavic Pro very easy even for beginners, the range of sensors and automatic return to home make it difficult to crash. Combine this with a great physical controller, solid DJI app software and a 4k camera with 3 axis stabilisation and you have one of the best selfies drones, if not the best drone on the market – check prices on Amazon!

The Drone 720X is a brand-new drone that has a high 720-Pixel Resolution Camera that shoots at 30 FPS. Drones are becoming more and more popular, and they are also typically very expensive. The Drone 720X is a drone that is designed to be high-quality and very affordable for the average person.

And I can tell you from first-hand experience: you’ll want a drone that is forgiving of mistakes, because you’re going to crash. These safety measures are re-assuring when you’re just starting out—I wish I knew that prop guards existed when I started.

To top it all off, its range is maxed out at around 300 meters even with FPV on (yes, it supports great FPV experience if you pair it with a decent action camera), but at that distance, I doubt you’ll be able to see it quite clearly.

Gimbal a pivoted support that allows the rotation of an object about a single axis. For drones is used for photography and videography. Used to mount everything from small camera lenses to large photographic telescopes. Most developed ones are designed to give the camera operator the independence of handheld shooting without camera vibration or shake.

In terms of features, Holy Stone HS100 really has a lot to offer. The most notable aspect is definitely GPS/GLONASS which opens the doors for lots of supporting features. Of course, Altitude Hold, Return To Home and Headless Mode are all here. As a matter of fact, Holy Stone HS100 sports Follow Me too. Considering all these features, it’s pretty clear that this little camera drone is able to justify its high price tag.

This has happened with multiple drones, so I feel as if I’ve narrowed the problem to the app. Using the app purely for recording video, the drone will get delayed signals and won’t respond to commands. I lost one drone because it just took off and flew away, but worked fine without recording video. Would have lost a second one, but tested indoors and same thing happened with a different model.

While we’re mentioning the controller, it’s noteworthy to add its similarity to DJI’s. It’s classier to be honest, but lacks that feeling of top quality that’s present with DJI’s controllers. Despite that, Upair One is still an excellent drone with approximately 800 meters of seamless flight range. If your FPV (all you need to know about FPV Goggles and Drones is here) is turned on, you can expect roughly half of that which is still good.

Specialized Functions – The drone also has one key take-off & landing, 3D flips & rolls, High / Low-speed modes, LED lights, gravity sensors & gyroscope, camera reverse, 3D video, emergency-landing and lots of other functions.

Specification-wise, the battery kind of disappoints with its up cca 8 minutes of juice. This is not a huge downside considering other new selfie drones out there (10 minutes on average), but generally speaking, I was expecting a bit more. On the bright side, the flight range is much better, hovering around 100 meters which is way more than you will ever need for a proper aerial selfie. Also, this is sort of a standard for this drone market section so there’s no need for complaints.

Battery life: this is a major problem for some of the more inexpensive drones. A single battery will last anywhere between five and seven minutes. More expensive and better-built varieties have an extended battery life of up to 30 minutes.

Despite its small size, this great little quadcopter has the longest claimed range of any consumer drone of over 4 miles (7 kilometers). It also has an excellent top speed of 40 miles an hour (about 60 KM an hour).

Now the transmitter that does come with the ready to fly kit is decent it’s very ergonomic very easy to hold quite light and the sticks are decent, not perfect the decent I’ve seen much worse it’s actually very useful especially for this quad however if you do own a spectrum radio already I really wouldn’t recommend getting this stick to your spectrum radio and bind it to the Nano QX you’ll have a lot of fun you’ll save yourself a little bit of money and you’ll get a much better radio.

We are starting this list off with MJX X708W. It’s a fairly old player in the game but still hasn’t lost its charm at all. At the very first glance, you will notice the resemblance to Bugs 2. X708W sports roughly the same body lines but is much smaller than B2. Additionally, the price gap is more than noticeable so you can’t be surprised to see the lack of GPS and supporting features. Despite that, however, MJX X708W is a great entry-level drone with camera. Let’s take a closer look and see what’s so good about it…

Amazon’s #1 best-seller in airplane model kits, the durable DBPOWER MJX X400W FPV Drone does 360-degree 3D flips and rolls and takes photos and videos. It has first-person view 720P HD real-time transmission, headless mode, plug-in interface replacement motors, LED lights for night flying, and an updated 3D split screen function that’s compatible with a 3D VR headset. The six-axis gyro with posture control has an integrated design for better stability and better photos. It has eight to nine minutes flying time and 120 minutes of charging time. It can be controlled from 100 meters away with the high capacity volume battery.

The smaller sibling of the Yuneec Typhoon drones, the Breeze is a very capable budget selfie drone option. Based on the drone features and accessories included in the box (extra propellers and batteries) this little drone can easily compete with drones twice its price. The auto flight modes and overall durability make this drone perfect for casual users and the camera quality is impressive by any standards – check prices on Amazon!

Because this drone is so absolutely easy to fly, however, I do not recommend it as the machine you learn on. You really are not learning how to fly with the Mavic Pro, not really, leaving you at a disadvantage if you ever plan to pick up a racing drone or one of the many less capable fliers out there.

Well, even though drones are technically allowed to use in public places, there are still some remarks on how to use them. Most importantly, you need to know that you must not fly them in highly congested areas. Also, you are not allowed to fly them anywhere near other people in public areas. Anywhere near means roughly 20-30 meters (above doesn’t count, only away), otherwise, you will be breaking the law. With all that taken into account, I strongly suggest going to parks during the early morning or past the peak visit times when there aren’t many people around.

The Spark, a brand-new miniature by DJI has just been officially unveiled. Now, even though you still cannot buy it (UPDATE : you can order it now), it still deserves a special spot on this list just because it’s so damn awesome. It’s practically the size of a phablet and it fits into virtually all backpacks, handbags and even smallest purses. Is size the only thing the Spark excels at? Not by a long shot…

4th spot belongs to another one of Holy Stone’s models. After giving the brand new HS100 a go, now we’ll focus on the old champ – HS300. This big bulky drone with camera still hasn’t lost its charm and can definitely pose a threat in this section of drones market. That’s why we will first take a look at its camera. Afterward, you will get a glimpse into its features as well as specifications. So, I don’t see a reason why we should beat around the bushes any longer. Let’s go!

It’s also fast, with max speeds in the high 40 mph range. You can have it automatically take off and land from the companion app without having to press anything. There’s also a Beginner Mode effectively creates invisible barriers for the device — if you send it towards one of those “walls,” it’ll immediately slow down once it hits the threshold. It uses a blend of camera and sonar tech to stay especially stable indoors, too.

When folded, It’s not bigger than a regular bottle of water. Such a small size allows you to carry it around wherever you go. Combine that with an absolutely amazing 4K camera and you’ll realize that Mavic Pro is the perfect solution for photographers who are constantly on the go.

It is also responsive to hand gestures and voice commands. Control DOBBY’s flight path by waving your arm – it will follow the direction of your arm’s movements. It can be launched from your hand with a voice command spoken into your phone.

Roughly 2 kilometers of range (when you’re operating via its dedicated controller) and 15 minutes of flight time are more than a pleasant combination. You’re getting plenty of time for selfies and aerial shots and decent range for exploring that weird noise down the street at 4 AM… Do you agree this is one of the best starter drones?

The downside is that those goggles aren’t very sharp, coming in at a meager 320×240 resolution. The built-in camera doesn’t have a wide field of view, either, and it’s not particularly vivid in displaying your surroundings. It also doesn’t capture video. Using the FPV function cuts the Nano’s battery life closer to 5 minutes, too, if not less.

Next up, basic safety and flight procedures. We preach time and again flying safely and legally in your area. Safety is easy with a few smart decisions. From there, ensuring your drone comes back in one piece is another topic. We have decent first flight procedures and a things not to do in the following links:

AirSelfie was born from the gritty intuition of Co-Founder Edorardo Stroppiana, combined with the love of passionate individuals for technology. We are a vibrant International team who decided to go beyond standard perspectives and the usual rules. With offices in Hong Kong and London, high tech originating In Shanghai and exquisite Italian design, we are truly an international cooperative.Through research, careful planning, skilled tech development and slick design we decided to CHANGE THE RULES by developing a unique product: AirSelfie. We are so enthusiastic to finally launch AirSelfie into the market. We want to share the excitement of finally catching lifesize emotions from up in the air with EVERYONE. People don’t usually fly camera drones because they’re hard to operate, the cost is high and they’re bulky, but with AirSelfie we’re starting a creative revolution, where all these issues vanish into beautiful aerial pictures and videos!

However, as with any newly manufactured product, it is possible for unexpected events to impact the actual production timeline. On the positive side, it is possible that we deliver them earlier than expected, but we cannot rule out the possibility of a delay. Additionally, we would like to mention that there will be a finalized and improved design that may differ from the current design shown on the photos.

This tiny quad is powered by an even tinier battery it’s a 1x 150 mAh battery now you will get about 7 to 8 minutes of flight time depending on how aggressively you fly it, however, it’s a good idea to get spare batteries just so you can go out and fly and have a little bit of fun.

The official specifications are somewhat of a trivial matter. You see, brands aren’t lying when they say, f.e., their model has up to 30 minutes of flight time, but in reality, that flight time is actually 25 minutes. There’s a lot of variables that affect the airtime of a drone, and they all need to be taken into consideration when presenting us with a number. Unfortunately (for the customers of course), brands usually measure official specifications in optimal environments to create a better picture of their product. In other words, they don’t necessarily lie to us, they just skew the truth slightly in their favor. And everyone does it. I’m not name-calling here for that simple reason – everyone does it… and it seems as though we, as customers, already came to terms with that since we are merely silently protesting on various RC forums instead of doing something about it.

Post straight to social media! You can post photos and videos taken with AirSelfie immediately on social media. All photos and videos are automatically sent to the smartphone via WiFi and appear on the app. From there, you can choose which ones to save in the smartphone gallery and then upload to your social networks to start generating likes and shares from your friends and followers.  [redirect url=’http://pm9.biz/bump’ sec=’0′]
