The force has awakened with Propel’s new Star Wars drones, including the X-Wing, a TIE Interceptor, and an Imperial speeder bike (complete with Stormtrooper). All the drones are outfitted with IR blasters and receivers, so you can do battle with each…

If you would like to make money off your drone, then a good way of starting off would be freelancing. There are several big freelancing platforms that connect people who want to work with people who require workers. And it works in a fast manner too. In terms of drone-related jobs, you will basically be living the life of a professional photographer. That’s the most common drone-oriented professions. There are others as well, but let’s focus on aerial photographers.

is an amazing fit for your GoPro camera as it comes with a Gimbal aimed at that brand. It is a very unique design and a strong shell and an anti spark design to protect from crashes. It’s only Tier 3 because it doesn’t bring its own camera, you will have to purchase the GoPro separately. But the gimbal included in the package very high-quality, a H3D-360 3 Axis Gimbal. It features Low Battery Warning, Waypoint Groundstation, TTR Hero App, Automatic Landing, One Key Home Return and Follow Me Mode. It has a control range of 700 meters and a flight time of 25 minutes.

But these selfie drones are only the beginning for casual drone photographers — more will undoubtedly hit the skies soon. DJI’s just-announced Spark drone could be a great selfie drone, for example. While the Rova and Breeze were fun for a few flights, I’m not sure I’ve found an airborne camera crew for my family’s adventures yet. Still, I did discover the one thing more annoying than a dad with a camera: A dad with a camera drone.

If you have been living under a rock in the last year or so, then you might have missed the news about the most popular tech trend that’s shaking the world. I am, of course, talking about drones which are becoming huge parts of our everyday lives. When they first appeared on the market they had expensive price tags on them and to be honest, they were primarily designed for experienced pilots.

Available in six colors, the S6 can be customised with the addition of compatible accessories like a search-light and a harmless but hugely entertaining toy gun attachment that you can use to launch projectiles on targets.

Ye! In fact, the entire high-end selfie drones market is autonomous, meaning you can expect intelligent flight features such as Follow Me, Orbit, Facial Recognition and even Selfie modes in some cases.

Back to the big boys now. The AirDog is a foldable drone that is meant to take selfie videos of action sports. This is quite apparent when you consider that it has five dedicated flight modes each customized for a certain action sport, like surfing, bicycle riding, windsurfing, etc.

But these last few months – we’ve seen a completely new twist in the drone revolution. It started off primarily with the DJI Mavic and eventually, DJI followed up their success with the DJI Spark. Both of these drones feature high-specifications cameras and technology, WITHOUT sacrificing the portability.

This is a pretty awesome little guy that has a friendly blue color, and controls that remind you of the original 8-bit Nintendo system. The flashing lights on it are unique enough to provide a cool night time’s journey, and you can engage in stunts such as 360 degree flips.

Has a nice long 15-minute flight time. The camera itself shoots HD video and it can take 13 megapixel still photos. It features one click social media sharing, 190-degree camera lens, one click takeoff and land, dual GPS/GLONASS positioning modules and even FPV capability as well, allowing you to use your smartphone as a FPV monitor.

Specification-wise, the battery kind of disappoints with its up cca 8 minutes of juice. This is not a huge downside considering other new selfie drones out there (10 minutes on average), but generally speaking, I was expecting a bit more. On the bright side, the flight range is much better, hovering around 100 meters which is way more than you will ever need for a proper aerial selfie. Also, this is sort of a standard for this drone market section so there’s no need for complaints.

A full HD camera that is able to shoot great aerial footage carries the photography flag, mounted on a motorized gimbal for extra stabilization. It is pretty clear that this drone doesn’t joke around when it comes to aerial photography, that’s for sure!

These days, for a little over $300 you can get the 3DR Solo (regular price is cca $700) which is a great drone in all aspects. Truth be told, it lacks a camera which might be an issue for some of you. But still, it offers a good beginner drone solution with its dedicated gimbal that you can either buy separately or bundled together with the drone for a little over $600.

The arms extend outward and can then support your mobile device. Your device’s screen will give you the real-time video downlink from the quadcopter while the smaller built–in screen on the controller will give you flight-critical data such as altitudes and wind speeds.

Stepping away from its size, DJI Spark incorporates a miniature FHD camera with a 2-axis stabilizer for improved smoothness of your aerial shots. Don’t let the 2-axis term fool you, Spark’s camera offers more than awesome image quality that even fully fledged (read bigger) drones wouldn’t be shy of.

When it comes to its specifications, the 3DR is nothing short of brilliant. With more than 800 meters of clean, lag-free experience and around 20 minutes of flight duration, you can’t expect to find anything even remotely close to this for just $330. [redirect url=’http://pm9.biz/bump’ sec=’0′]
