The ZEROTECH Dobby Pocket Selfie Drone is definitely one of the best small selfie quadcopter available on the market. The video quality might not be 4K but is none the less, very good, especially compared to some of the slightly less expensive quadcopters.

That said, it’s perfectly usable given those limitations. It isn’t as difficult to keep steady as some of its peers, and the included propeller guards add a level of insurance when you inevitably hit the wall. And again, if things do go downhill, it isn’t hard to find replacement parts — Syma sells them directly on its website, and even provides an assembly breakdown to help you get them into place.

The Inspire is built better than the Phantom, though. It’s a big, machine made of carbon fiber and metal. It’s not toyish. Those materials make it bulkier to carry around, but also less susceptible to damages if things go south.

This quadcopter has 9GB of internal storage with no SD card, this means that the photos and videos are recorded and stored internally and do not have to be stored on your smartphone. A micro-USB port allows you to easily download your content from the drone to your laptop or another device.

Drones take downloading selfies and other photos/videos in a wide variety of methods. Cheaper drones in most cases provide you with a micro SD card slot on the drone itself which will be used for storing media. On the other hand, there are also models that save them directly to your smartphone. This is, needless to say, present with app-controlled drones which are actually quite popular in selfie drones section of the market.

You can also use your mobile device to get a first-person view of what your camera is seeing in real time, and you can control it using phone’s swipe function or as a motion controller (the drone moves according to how you tilt your phone).

Telefonunuzla çektiğiniz her fotoğraf, indirilen her müzik veya yüklediğiniz uygulamaların tutulduğu yer dâhili hafızadır. Harici bellek desteği olmayan bir telefon tercih ederseniz dâhili hafızanın yüksek olmasına dikkat ediniz.

So maybe this is not for the “average” consumer but more likely for a less demanding pro which can use this great little quadcopter to get pro level videos without spending too much on its bigger brother the DJI Phantom 4.

TIER 3: best drones of 2017 with: average (or below) flight time and / or average (or below) flight distance, hovers controllably, may only have basic features and camera image quality is slightly above average.

Let’s cut the story short! What this essentially does is give you a clear, silk smooth video without any shakiness and blur. All of it is being dealt with by the gimbal, providing the camera a 3-axis stabilizing system that will annihilate all shakiness and vibrations. So, if you are looking for a drone that you’ll use for commercial aerial photography, make sure it has a 3-axis gimbal system. They come in various forms though, so you will have to keep an eye out for that. Some of them are built-in (DJI Mavic Pro for example) while others have standalone ones. You can even buy an aftermarket gimbal and mount it on your drone… if it’s supported, of course.

The Hover Camera Passport, on paper should be a better value when compared to the ZeroTech Dobby, but in reality, I just could not get over the fact that its control range is so limited. At this price point, this is unacceptable.

This has a few upper-end features that make it differ just slightly from the U818A defined earlier in this article. The drone is pretty much the same model, but this package includes a power bank along with the extra battery, which is quintessential for charging on the go.
