If you’re a DJI fanboy then I am sure you’ve already heard about the DJI Spark pocket selfie drone. This amazing new drone is the talking point of entire drone industry and there’s no way you could’ve missed its announcement. So basically, we are talking about the smallest DJI drone yet… yup, even smaller than the Mavic Pro.

First person view. Also known as remote-person view (RPV), or simply video piloting, it is a method used to control a radio-controlled vehicle (such as a drone with live camera in this case) from the driver or pilot’s view point. The live image is directly displayed in a screen, monitor or FPV Goggles.. All best drone 2017 comes with FPV.

It is not indestructible, but shows no signs of damage after many bumps into the ceiling and hard landings on the hard floors. I have not bumped into the wall yet, so I can’t rightly speak to that, but the idea remains the same, this is the size of drone that is fun to fly, but will cause little to no damage if crashed inside the house.

Taking wide angle shots was never this easy; you can use the 6 axis gyro flight control system to stabilize the flight and click life-like pictures. You can own the best beginner drone at an unbelievable price of just $51.

After some failed launch attempts, a new gadget has finally arrived to make sure everybody gets in the frame: Selfie drones. Small, camera-equipped drones typically controlled with a smartphone app, they’re like selfie sticks on steroids.

Vito Dronelli is a tech enthusiast, blogger, and a father of two. During his free time, in addition to flying drones all around his neighborhood, Vito likes to visit his father’s Pizza Place where he talks about his new drone.

Amazon’s #1 best-seller in airplane model kits, the durable DBPOWER MJX X400W FPV Drone does 360-degree 3D flips and rolls and takes photos and videos. It has first-person view 720P HD real-time transmission, headless mode, plug-in interface replacement motors, LED lights for night flying, and an updated 3D split screen function that’s compatible with a 3D VR headset. The six-axis gyro with posture control has an integrated design for better stability and better photos. It has eight to nine minutes flying time and 120 minutes of charging time. It can be controlled from 100 meters away with the high capacity volume battery.

In terms of battery duration, Autel Robotics X-Star Premium does itself justice with around 25 minutes of flight time per charge. On top of that, the free-range technology allows this camera drone to provide its user with silk smooth HD FPV up to 1.2 miles (cca 2 kilometers) away from the transmitter.

This really is a fun drone to fly. It’ll surely help to improve your piloting skills in no time. It looks more like an aerodynamic airplane and less like a space craft, though I suppose looks are subjective.

No one has yet managed to combine the portability and top-end features that the Mavic possesses. Considering its light weight, it can hold itself steady remarkably well, though it feels slightly more “jumpy” in flight than the Phantom. The camera has a narrower field of view but for most purposes this makes little difference. The quality is still razor-sharp 4K. The battery also lasts around 25 minutes and it has the longest range of all of the models we tested at 7km.

So maybe this is not for the “average” consumer but more likely for a less demanding pro which can use this great little quadcopter to get pro level videos without spending too much on its bigger brother the DJI Phantom 4.

Only recently announced, and possibly not yet shipping by the time you read this, the new GDU O2 is a compact machine that is one of the most portable drones on the market today. We were at the official unveiling of this drone and got to go hands-on with it at InterDrone 2017, but we have not yet flown it ourselves. That comes next. Instead of folding down, like many portable machines today, the propeller arms slide into the body, keeping them safe and getting them out of the way.

ONE TOUCH TAKE OFF AND LANDING: Drone automatically hovers at a set altitude after take off and before landing making it easy to control and maneuver, especially for beginners who are not yet skilled.

The DJI Spark offers gesture recognition and obstacle avoidance technology, along with a 12MP camera and 16 minutes of flight time. Control Spark by using a mobile device and gesture controls or purchase a remote control sold separately. When paired with the new DJI goggles, users can experience real time FPV flying.

JJRC H51, a 360° panoramic aerial photography drone features a foldable arm and cool rocket shape. The built-in 720P 90 degree adjustable camera, allows you watch the picture and video on the phone in real-time.

Probably the best thing about Altair AA108 is its brilliant miniature that can record in HD. We are talking about a wide angle sensor here (120-degrees FOV) which is perfect for taking shots and videos from high altitudes. Of course, it has no stabilization (hardware or software) so you will experience a bit of jello effect every now and then.

Introduced at CES 218, the new Uvify OOri is a mini drone that ignores the stereotypes of size, offering things previously only found in larger machines. In specific, we’ve never seen a drone this small that hovers so well, nor have we seen a drone this small that can fly as fast. In beginner mode, you’ll be safe to fly OOri in your living room, as you grow as a race pilot, you’ll be able to keep up with some serious machines. OOri is not headed to any professional race circuits, Uvify has the Draco and Warp 9 for that, but OOri can scoot along at over 50 mph.

That special accessory I announced above is called Karma Grip. It effectively breaks the boundaries between aerial and handheld photography by providing its users with a versatile imaging stabilization. Karma Grip is basically a handheld/body-mounted stabilizer which transforms your aerial platform package into a handheld one. It’s as simple as detaching the camera (GoPro Hero 5 or GoPro Hero 6) and attaching it to the Karma Grip.
Not all transmitters are the same. As a matter of fact, each and every one of them is different in their own right. They might seem similar but their switches and buttons do completely different things. That’s why it’s a good idea to learn the basic buttons such as return to home, headless mode, rate switch and so on. WIthout that knowledge, you will have a bad time flying your drone for the first time.
