Deutsche Telekom AG’s T-Mobile unit in the Netherlands began using drones for antenna inspection on Tuesday. The company is the first European operator to do so, and plans to use the Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) to inspect 5,000 antennas in the Netherlands from mid-July. According to Jeffrey Leentjes, T-Mobile network specialist, with the use of a drone it will only take around 15 minutes to completely photograph the special stadium antennas and antenna masts. Traditionally, it would take a cherry picker a week to do the same job. Each drone will be equipped with an HD camera equipped with heat sensors and transmitters to provide real-time analysis of the data.  According to SNL Kagan, at the moment, every drone flight requires prior permission from the aviation authority in the Netherlands.

You can also use the drones follow me mode, and let it follow you when your run, bike, surf etc. Having a drone that can follow you enables you to shoot some really cool action videos. Drones that follow you are usually quite expensive, but this quad is actually affordable.

Beginner drones can be cheap as chips, but they don’t have to be. I include some very affordable drones here, though affordability is not the sole focus. Ease-of-use and fun flying is the main priority.

Specialized Functions – The drone also has one key take-off & landing, 3D flips & rolls, High / Low-speed modes, LED lights, gravity sensors & gyroscope, camera reverse, 3D video, emergency-landing and lots of other functions.

Love my H…I love it…great drone even for a beginner…Although it’s extremely stable it’s all the features that will cause confusion for some.Let me tell you what others won’t or at least what BestBuy Didn’t tell me.This drone won’t turn on if you live within 5 miles of a airport(NO FLY ZONE) or even a hospital with a helicopter pad, also won’t work in state parks,or by schools national parks at least it doesn’t sync up at frontier park in Erie, nor does it anywhere within the 5 miles range of airport. But I can take a 8 min drive out the city limits

The selfie-drone is the next piece of technology which might just be the next big thing in everybody’s pocket. After the iPod, the portable digital-camera, the smartphone/iPhone/iPad, the next big thing just might be: the selfie drone.

You’re here because you’re ready to move away from the more basic drones. Either that or you want a higher quality craft to learn with. Beginner drones don’t have to be cheap but they must handle easy.

Note #3: Big thanks to USA Toyz and Force1 RC, who sent us a lot of models on this list to test and review. Both USA Toyz and Force1 RC are U.S. based companies that sell through Amazon. Unlike many of their non-U.S. counterparts, they offer quality customer service, user manuals you can actually understand, and good business ethics. Many of the models on this list link directly to these companies, particularly the first 5 listings.

Yet another Foldable selfie drone that made a buzz recently is the Hover Camera Passport Selfie Drone. Now this drone has a very unique design, not only the arms are foldable inside like the DJI Mavic drone or the Dobby, but the whole body folds in half just like a book, or a passport in this case.

The second method is a delayed photo mode in which the drone will fly off and then capture an image after the timer runs out. This will give everyone enough time to snap the perfect pose, there’s no doubt about it!

There is no doubt that the Q500 is the ultimate drone model coming from Yuneec’s factory of wonders. With a built-in professional-quality 4K camera that is able to record insanely high-quality aerial footage, it is pretty clear that this drone is meant only for people who know what they want from their drone.

And we’ve already seen what a leap in usability there has been – drones now need just a gesture to take a selfie. Drones don’t even need remotes sometimes – you can fly them with a smartphone app. Drones for selfies are obviously not going to be any different – they’re simply to fly, simple to take pictures with.

The Dobby is surely a great choice for taking dronies … and at the current price, it’s the perfect time to grab a bargain. We’ve sourced an excellent supplier with a great reputation, so go ahead and have a look!

Two weeks ago I ordered the above drone received from Walmart, I think on October 16 or 17. I have limited experience flying drones, but I have done some in the past – one of our Grandson’s. I enjoyed his and since one of my neighbors has purchased and was enjoying flying his (he has nine), I went online to your website and chose the above unit and was directed to vendors and chose Walmart. I assembled the drone and it was quite nice. The next day, I charged the batteries and took it outside to fly on our driveway. It bounced considerably and moved into some trees and I retrieved the unit, I put it away and decided to fly it when I came off of the mountain. My wife suggested we take it down to the farm and fly it in the pasture. Last Thursday, I did so. As soon as I hit the button it elevated and flew off. I tried to toggle it back to me, but no amount of my work changed the direction. I thought I had it once, but it climbed and went north. It went squirrely! I talked to my neighbor who has some of your equipment and he suggested I write to you and ask if there are defective units and if so if you consider replacing the unit. I still have the controller and one battery, but no drone. I am including my tracking statement from Walmart with applicable information. Thank you for your consideration,. sent email to symatoys this morning, waiting for reply.

The Breeze is marketed as an easy way to take videos and pictures of you and your friends. It does shoot video in 4K, so it should be sharper compared to the 1080p video you get from the the DJI Spark and the Parrot Bebop 2. However, some reviewers feel that the camera in the Breeze isn’t as nice as the 1080p of those other drones, so 4K isn’t everything.

Yes! Pretty much all selfie drones fall into the beginner-friendly category meaning they are insanely intuitive and easy to use. However, this is not an accidental case – selfie drones are aimed at a much broader audience (with plenty of first-time flyers) than standard ones meaning they have to provide an encouraging learning curve.

The main hook with the Wingsland S6 is you get a barebones package for just $299 and then buy add-ons to get the features to match more expensive drones. So while most models don’t include propeller guards out of the box, you can buy an add-on that gives you that for $15. Examples of other add-ons include: an LCD display board, propeller guards, a spotlight. and even a drone-mounted gun that shoots little foam balls.

Starting off with the camera technology, Inspire 2 is equipped with CineCore 2.0 image processing. With support for CinemaDNG and ProRes recordings, the fact that it’s going to be mainly purchased by professional photographs is not surprising at all.

All I can do now is make a wish: that certain beaches, gardens and ancient ruins become no-drone zones, too, so that travelers who appreciate tranquillity may be lucky enough to steal a quiet moment in them.

Aerobatic Flight – 3D flips and rolls make the 360 degree rotations towards various directions to give you the spectacular performance. LED Light – With LED light, more fun when you play it on a dark night, it will be a shining star.

The pinnacle of new selfie drones is, of course, made by DJI. Their awesome DJI Mavic Pro is the best selfie drone with high-end specifications across all departments. Some would argue that this is a mere selfir drone… and the are 100% right. DJI Mavic Pro offers so much more.

Altitude Assistance Module™ (AAM): The number one thing pilots of the original VIDIUS Drone asked for was help with keeping a steady altitude. AAM™ brings the technology of larger drones into the World’s Smallest Live Streaming HD Video Drone™ by utilizing a barometer style device inside the drone, which helps maintain altitude, allowing pilots to focus more on directional flight and less on going up too high or dropping too low. Altitude adjustments can now be made in smaller increments as well.

This has happened with multiple drones, so I feel as if I’ve narrowed the problem to the app. Using the app purely for recording video, the drone will get delayed signals and won’t respond to commands. I lost one drone because it just took off and flew away, but worked fine without recording video. Would have lost a second one, but tested indoors and same thing happened with a different model.

Finally, I should also mention Karma Grip, a nice little addition which will transform your aerial photography platform into a handheld or body-mounted one. It keeps the same image stabilization capability but adds an extra capturing method which is a great solution for outdoor activities.
