One of the most notable benefits of a drone in this category is the amazing battery life. Up till now we’ve seen 7-8 minutes on average. This beaut gives you a max flight time of 25 minutes per charge.

ONE TOUCH TAKE OFF AND LANDING: Drone automatically hovers at a set altitude after take off and before landing making it easy to control and maneuver, especially for beginners who are not yet skilled.

Ever since smartphones become ubiquitous, the camera technology has been advancing in leaps and bounds. Quality, despite being packaged in such a small size, keeps getting better and better. And of course, being just one component in a smartphone, the price of camera is obviously very affordable to make it possible to be sold in the millions.

At the high end of this category you can shoot video that looks quite professional, and have a drone that you can fly for up to 25 minutes. The larger drones handle wind better, and some come equipped with a gimbal that stabilizes the camera.

Blade Removal Tool: Removing blades is inevitable and often times frustrating, the new VIDIUS HD now comes with a handy-dandy blade removal tool to get your blades swapped and back in the air quicker and easier than ever before!

Upair One is equipped with an outstanding 2.7K camera that can, in combination with its stability systems, capture great aerial footage time in and time out. You can upgrade your purchase for roughly $50 and opt for a 4K camera package if you’re into aerial photography. This is my favourite beginner drone with camera. Upair one also has a smart battery which lasts up to 18 minutes on a single charge which is a great trait nonetheless.

DJI Spark has already brought a ton of innovative things the field of selfie drones. With a 2-axis gimbal providing hardware stabilization and an exceptional full HD camera, it is able to capture selfies like no other drone out there. With that being said, just imagine what a stir on the market will we have once DJI Spark 2 gets released.

Imagine you and a group of friends are at the peak of a mountain after a long hike. It’s sunset and the sky is alight; you want to take a photo. You pull out your smartphone, but instead of flipping it around to take a long-armed selfie, you unclip a tiny drone from the back of your phone, make it hover at the perfect height and snap a series of photos, no extendo-arms required.

We have a new entry of a foldable drone from a company called 7 Senses. The basic principle is the same as other selfie drones in the round up (except for the Elfie of course); foldable arms, small, easy to transport and a decent 4K camera which is mounted using a 3D brushless gimbal giving you great and stable photos and videos. The 7 Hawk4k folding selfie drone also has the typical follow me mode found in all other selfie drones. So by now you should be familiar with what you get when buying this quadcopter.

Just a heads-up before answering the next few questions – there’s no “one size fits all” methodology on the line when it comes to GPS, Altitude hold, hardware stabilization and range. It’s all a highly subjective matter and instead of telling you what to buy, I’m going to give you my honest opinion about how I think the matter should be. So, let’s kick it off with GPS.

In terms of software features, Holy stone HS300 has altitude hold and one key return. They are not GPS-powered though, so don’t expect pinpoint accuracy. Last but not least, there is a whole deal of accessories waiting for you inside the package. Not only will you get an extra spare of props, 4GB MicroSD card, and a tiny screwdriver… but you will also get 2 chargers. What will you need the extra charger for? Well, obviously for charging the extra battery that can be found inside.

See the world in stunning clarity like never before with the SKEYE Mini Drone with HD Camera. This mighty quadcopter has four strong propellers and incredible aerobatic capability to let you show off your flying tricks and skills while recording your flight.

Whether that’s a good thing depends on who you ask, but from a consumer standpoint, it’s easy to see why such a passionate community has developed around these little machines. Their raison d’etre is aerial imaging — armed with YouTube and a GoPro, anyone can use a good drone to take sublime shots at angles that just aren’t possible any other way. With them, you can tell stories, gather research, or simply gawk at the world’s beauty. A smartphone camera and DSLR have their uses, but taking to the sky is its own kind of majestic. And even if amateur cinematography isn’t your thing, simply flying around is just pure fun.

And finally, we have come to the most expensive drone that is well-suitable for beginner pilots. As if there was any doubt in which drone will take the crown. Of course, the DJI Phantom 4 Pro is the ultimate king among drone with a whole set of incredibly useful features, some of which are directly targeting beginners. Let’s take a closer look at it and see what exactly can it do!

Consider Outdoor and Indoor Abilities: Normally the best drones for beginners is compact and arrives in a small model which makes it highly maneuverable in confined places or even indoors. Having the ability to fly the quad in numerous areas enables for more training time.
If you are a first-time flyer and you are finding it difficult to get used to standard drone controls, perhaps headless mode will give you a better chance of getting things right. However, think of headless mode as a learning mechanism and don’t use it all the time since it will skew your muscle memory and you won’t be able to learn proper controls in the long run.
